Migros Club School, the largest educational institution in Switzerland, offers a wide range of continuing education courses at 50 locations. Every year, around 400,000 people attend courses in over 500 categories, from yoga to language courses. We were commissioned to develop an overall digital concept for the Lucerne Club School that presents the range of courses in a clear and modern way.
Innovative digital steles for a better overview
The project focused on replacing the traditional wall of brochures with seven digital steles. These were designed in two versions – free-standing or wall-mounted – and are each equipped with a 40″ screen at the top and a 22″ touchscreen at the bottom. Both models are barrier-free and therefore also offer people in wheelchairs easy access to all course information. In future, all Club School courses and training programs can be conveniently searched, selected and booked directly via the steles. If you are still unsure, you can have the course offer sent to you by e-mail and decide at home.
Future-oriented and cost-efficient solution
Thanks to this digital solution, the Club School’s range of courses is always up to date. The changeover not only saves printing costs, but also increases customer awareness.
Implementation
- 7 digital steles at the 3 locations Lucerne, Zug and Sursee
- Creation of a design template for the construction of a prototype made of solid metal with a lockable service flap and two attached brochure holders for analog communication.
